lip kits

...wanted to put a carbon fiber lip.......but I was wondering how strong they are ... should I just go plastic instead... I mean it would be cheaper so if it breaks well then replacing it would be just cheaper...

the price difference isn't very much.
caron fiber would be real; good if you were planning on doing shows.
personally, I'd go with the carbon fiber. it bends a lot less than plastic as well.

A CF lip is gonna cost a little bit more than an aftermarket bodykit, I would recommend going to andys autosport to check out the ones they have there, they are reasonably priced and they add that JDM look that so many people look for.

yeh i 2nd that andys is the cheaper place to buy them from

i like abs though coz i think they look better painted the same colour as the car, weight wise its no difference, and its only for looks. u could always have a go with getting some carbon wrap ive seen it for sale around and wrap it urself in cf

I would use frp (fiber reinforced plastic). It's much stronger than fiberglass and you can twist a quality one around without it snaping or cracking, much like extreme dimensions duraflex.
